What can I Expect on Election Day?

If you decide to vote on Election Day, voting hours are 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at your designated voting precinct.

  1. Show photo ID and fill out an application to vote.
  2. An election inspector will look up your voter information in the Electronic Pollbook to ensure you are at the correct polling location and are a registered voter.
  3. You will be issued a ballot and a secrecy sleeve and will be directed to an open voting booth. Once you have filled out your desired selections to your ballot, you will deposit your ballot into the tabulator.
  4. If you have made a mistake on your ballot or have changed your mind about your selection, you may notify an election inspector at any time prior to inserting into the tabulator that you wish to spoil your ballot and will be reissued a new one.
