[ARCHIVED] DEA Drug Box at Richmond PD

DEA Drug Box

Richmond Police Department has once again begun to accept expired or unneeded pills with our DEA drug box.  The box is located in the lobby of our department.  Please ONLY bring unneeded PILLS.  Any liquids or similar may be able to be disposed of at a local pharmacy.  Please contact them for confirmation.

On Saturday, April 30th from 10am-2pm is the National Drug Take Back Day. Click on the link at the bottom of this page for the Take Back Day event flyer. Though this is a national campaign that is a one-day event, our department is open all year to accept these pills for disposal. Please contact the Richmond PD at 586.727.4000 with any further questions.

Before disposing of prescription medicines, be sure to remove all personal information on pill bottle labels and medicine packaging. All of the medicines dropped off at the take back locations will be destroyed.
