[ARCHIVED] 2021 Memorial Day Parade

We would like to invite local children and adults to show their Patriotism and join this year’s parade. Kids can decorate their bikes, wagons, themselves, etc. and registered golf cart owners can join in on the fun too by decorating their carts in Red, White and Blue and cruising down Main Street!

Anyone interested in participating in this year’s parade (no registration necessary) should meet at Bailey Park to line-up, starting at 9:30 a.m.

The parade route for 2021 has been shortened, the parade will enter Main Street at Washington Street and travel south to Water Street (like the Homecoming Parade), ending at pocket park near Maniaci’s. Please see the parade route and the scheduled detour in the map below.

After the Parade, a brief ceremony will take place at the Veterans Memorial on Main Street. The block of Main Street between Monroe and Water Streets will remain closed to allow the public to be socially distant, while still being able to watch the ceremony.
