[ARCHIVED] 2nd Annual RAHGS Heritage Festival

The Richmond Area Historical and Genealogical Society (RAHGS) is scheduled to hold its 2nd Annual Heritage Festival on Saturday, June 26th and Sunday, June 27th, 9 am-5 pm. They were not able to hold a Heritage Festival in 2020 due to COVID-19, but are bringing it back this year! Festival will be held at Historic Village inside Bailey Park.

The 2nd Annual Heritage Festival will have many highlights; some include an antique tractor and pre-WWII car show, demonstrations of antique farming tool and techniques, a children’s petting farm, tours of the Village buildings and new exhibits. There will be games, contests and activities for children and displays and demonstrations of hundred-year-old crafts. The Richmond Area Heritage Festival main focus is to honor the significant impact the farming community has had on the Richmond area.

In addition to the events listed above, the buildings in the Historic Village will be open for visitation. Horse drawn hayrides will be offered and an antique tractor and car parade will take place.

COVID-19 protocols will be enforced to maintain the safety for all attendees.

**Park Street and Beebe Street may have detours due to the antique tractor and pre-WWII car show and parade**
