***CORRECTED DATES FOR THE LIFEGUARD TRAINING COURSE - JUNE 5, 6 & 12, 2021***


Looking for a fun summer job, where you can work in the sun, and be a part of your community? Then this might be the opportunity for you! The City of Richmond Community Pool will be holding an American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course, run by CPR & Aquatic LLC, on June 5, 6 & 12, 2021, 10 am - 6 pm at the Community Pool, 69310 Beebe Street. This course will provide the necessary training for any individual interested in working at the Richmond Community Pool as a lifeguard.

Cost is $219.87

Pre-requisites to register:

- Must be at least 15 years old by the 1st day of class and provide proof of age

- Must be able to swim 300 yards continuously, showing rhythmic breathing, at least 100 yards breast stroke & at least 100 yards of front crawl

- Must complete a timed event, where you will retrieve a 10 pound object from the bottom of the pool in at least 8 feet of water

- Must be able to tread water for 2 minutes without using your hands
