[ARCHIVED] Scarecrow Contest

Scarecrow Contest - This is the last week for businesses, organizations and families to enter the Recreation Department's Scarecrow Contest.  If you are interested in putting up a Scarecrow on Main Street this year, contact the Recreation Director Margo VanHove at 586-727-3064 or  The Recreation Department has picked up the event this year from the Chamber of Commerce to keep the town decorated for the fall season.  Please help us out and sponsor a scarecrow.  

Scarecrows will be put up on Main Street the weekend of October 17th and 18th and we ask that you remove them the weekend before November 23rd.  There is a $10 fee.  A volunteer jury will select winners this year.  Please see the attached flyer for all of the information and rules.
