Community Development Block Grant Program
The City of Richmond Community Development staff develops and administers annually the federal U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The City of Richmond operates under the Macomb Urban County CDBG Program.
Funding CDBG provides funding for a variety of community programs with the goal of improving the quality of life for low and moderate-income residents. CDBG funding supports:
Partnerships CDBG partners with and funds qualified non-profit organizations and eligible service providers to promote the goals of the Macomb Urban County CDBG Program.
